Crazy Domains Expert and User Insights by Crazy Domains Customers

The Crazy Domain team have always sorted out any issues swiftly and drama free! The process is always straight forward, speedy, and efficient. They're probably the only customer service team I actually look forward to reaching out to when I have an issue, because I know I'll get the help I need!

Awful phone support! Slow servers, and not worth a cent!
I have had incredibly horrible experiences with them! Extremely poor phone support, long waiting times, no solution on most issues... and it goes on! The worst is that they won't refund your money whatsoever so please look for literally ANYTHING else apart of this guys and you will be fine.
worst service, just want to scam your money . try to registered a over priced domain and led me to block function . contact customer service within 30 min , when my status was pending after i highlight the issue immediately it become activated . they used this excuse to reject refund plus i cant change to other service . dont waste your time and money . go for others instead.
Come to crazy domains if you wish to be treated insignificantly.
What a great company to use to host your domain name because when they feel like it they just delete you and if you complain they have no idea why this occurred.
Why didn't they inform our company that the deletion was to occur?? They don't know!!
We can only guess that they have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHAT SO EVER.
We are happy to confirm this if we still had a domain name !!!!
But if you want to contact us to confirm this, our email is shown on this review.
If the Bosses of Domain read this, check out "Ticket ID 15343540", I doubt they will care as Customer service is directed from the "TOP" and Customer service does not exist!!!!!
By the way....they offered to help us with a new "design" at a "reasonable fee" just contact our web designers!!!!!! WHY WOULD YOU???
Joke of a Company! STAY AWAY.
The customer service team is rarely able to answer questions satisfactorily. I've tried many times and they've always disappointed. On a couple of occasions, they've performed so badly that I have been in absolute disbelief. This is the most amateurish operation I've ever come across.
Here's the most recent of many examples from my bizarre experiences with Crazy Domains...
I was just trying to install an SSL certificate. A very simple task with any other provider. I couldn't find what I was looking for in the backend, so I asked them for help via live chat. They gave me an email address to contact to ask for a CSR. So I emailed the exact email address, but it bounced back because the address didn't exist. Then they tried to blame me for it not working...? So I triple checked the email address and I definitely hadn't messed it up. After much more back and forth about other issues which should be incredibly quick and easy to resolve, I was shocked at how ridiculously bad the experience had been. So I asked for a transcript of the chat. They couldn't do that. But if I emailed some other email address (which probably also doesn't exist), they *might* be able to provide a transcript. But only maybe. No guarantees. Eventually we agreed upon a 'summary' of the chat, which was emailed to me. But it didn't even cover the main points from the chat session. Ugh.
This would have been hilarious if it wasn't so unbelievably bad.
And this is just the latest example of many.
Admittedly so back in 2012 Crazy Domains was very average with poor customer service I left them for the likes of go daddy and other Australian based companies. Deciding to use them again in 2015 proved to be a good decision, Customer service well and truly improved, Pricing still great and a new platform which made it easier to navigate. Cannot complain really.
I started doing business with crazydomains last July 2015. So far, I’ve found that their service is only getting better and better. Domain registration wasn’t difficult at all and everything is priced just right.
As my business grew, I starting looking for an option that would help me combine email accounts and that’s when I stumbled upon crazydomain’s Microsoft Exchange plan. Like my other purchases with them, I simply went over to their website to set it up. The next thing I knew, I had all my business emails organized and inboxes free of spam. This is a must-do for every growing business out there. If you happen to be looking for a reliable hosting company to work with, I’d 100% recommend you check crazydomains out.
The promise
When contacting Crazy Domains regarding a VPS Solution I was promised outstanding service, the best price, a money back guarantee and 99.9% uptime.
Reality
After paying over $3000 for the full solution I found there was NO improvement in my website performance as proven through GT Metrix monitoring. I experienced endless issues with my email client (outlook and apple email) not being able to connect to the VPS server resulting in me spending tens of ours on the phone with Crazy Domains technical support who are unresponsive, do not call back when they promised and took months to resolve the issue. The issue resulted in lost emails, delayed emails and missed sales opportunities. Finally when the emails were fixed (after they “identified the issue” my whole website stopped working….I paid my developers to work 24 hours trying to identify the issue, after three days of my website being unable to take any orders (an ecommerce website without any checkout facility) my developers identified that the Crazy Domains server team had gone in and changed the PHP version without seeking permission or instruction. This outage caused reputational damage, lost sales and cost me $1000s in developers costs to identify and resolve.
As a business I cannot rely on an unstable and poorly run server provider so I closed everything and transferred to another provider. A first Crazy Domains refused any refund, then offered a four month credit, then a 1 year credit and finally a 50% refund. They stated if I wanted a full refund I’d have to take legal action. The crazy domains product is inferior, slow, unreliable and the customer service is a disgrace. If you care about your clients, your businesses reputation and your sanity don’t even consider this company. 1 out of 5 stars. I will be seeking a full refund as Crazy Domains marketing is deceptive and misleading and they did not deliver the product I purchased. Legal proceedings in progress.
