FastComet has introduced a major upgrade to its hosting experience with the launch of the FastComet Marketplace—a centralized hub where you can install cloud apps, enable add-ons, and access new services in just a few clicks.
Instead of navigating different parts of your dashboard or relying on emails to find out what’s new, the Marketplace brings everything together in one place. It simplifies how you manage your hosting and gives you faster access to the tools you need.
Here’s what’s inside the FastComet Marketplace—and how it helps you do more with less effort.
What Is the FastComet Marketplace?
The FastComet Marketplace is a new section built directly into the hosting dashboard. It brings together everything you might need to manage, upgrade, and customize your hosting—all in one place.
To access it, simply click the Marketplace icon in the dashboard’s left-hand menu. From there, you can explore a wide range of apps, services, and tools designed to enhance your hosting experience.

What You’ll Find Inside
The Marketplace is neatly organized into sections so you can quickly access the tools, services, and upgrades you need, without digging through menus or opening support tickets.
Here’s what you’ll find:
Cloud Apps
This section gives you access to powerful services like Elasticsearch, Redis, Taiga, Penpot, Memcached, and Elastic + Kibana. These Cloud Apps are fully containerized and run separately from your main hosting environment, so they won’t interfere with your website or use up your server’s core resources.
You can activate any of these apps with just a few clicks—no manual installation, configuration, or plan upgrades required.
Hosting Add-ons and Services
The Addons section lets you quickly enable extra features like Imunify360, off-site backups, performance boosters, CloudLinux upgrades, and even licenses for Softaculous or SitePad.
These are optional tools you can activate and manage directly from your dashboard, so no manual setup is needed.
Popular Open-Source Applications (via Softaculous)
While these apps aren’t installed directly through the Marketplace, FastComet highlights popular platforms like WordPress, Magento, PrestaShop, Moodle, Node.js, and Vue.js right on the Marketplace homepage.
To install them, you’ll use the Softaculous Apps Installer, which is available as an add-on. Once enabled, Softaculous provides one-click installation for over 450 open-source apps, making it fast and easy to deploy content management systems, shopping carts, learning platforms, and more from your hosting dashboard.
Cloud Apps: Run Powerful Services on Your Shared Hosting Plan
Once you’re inside the FastComet Marketplace, one of the most useful sections you’ll find is called Cloud Apps.
This part of the dashboard introduces something that’s often missing in traditional hosting—easy access to advanced tools that don’t require a complicated setup.

In most cases, running high-performance tools like Elasticsearch or Redis would mean upgrading your hosting plan, manually installing software, or even hiring a developer to handle the configuration. That’s a lot of work for features that many websites could really benefit from.
FastComet has packaged these tools into fully managed, standalone services. You can activate them in seconds with no upgrades, no technical setup, and no risk of breaking your site.
How do these cloud apps work?
When you open the Cloud Apps section in the FastComet Marketplace, you’ll see a list of powerful tools you can deploy instantly, each running in its own secure container. This setup keeps every app completely isolated from your main hosting environment, so your website remains stable, fast, and unaffected by any changes to the app itself.
Let’s take Magento 2.4 as an example.
Magento 2.4 requires a working Elasticsearch service for installation and catalog search. You cannot install or upgrade Magento 2.4 without connecting it to a properly configured search engine.
FastComet makes this requirement easy to fulfill, without needing to dive into a complex server-side setup.
Here’s how it works:
- Open the Cloud Apps Section in the Marketplace. Find Elasticsearch in the list.
- Click to Activate. FastComet spins up the app in its own container. There’s no need to install or configure anything manually.
- Copy the Connection Details. Simply paste them into your Magento 2.4 configuration settings during setup. That’s it. You’ve met the search engine requirement in just a few clicks.
Your hosting plan stays the same. Your store stays online. And you can move forward confidently, knowing your setup is fully compatible with Magento 2.4’s system requirements.
Why This Setup Works
FastComet’s Cloud Apps model brings flexibility that most shared hosting environments simply don’t offer. Here’s why it matters:
- Everything Runs Separately From Your Site. The apps don’t use your hosting resources or conflict with your files. That means fewer issues, faster performance, and a cleaner experience.
- No Need for a Plan Upgrade. Normally, using tools like Elasticsearch would require moving to a VPS. With Cloud Apps, you stay on your current plan and still get access to enterprise-level features.
- Only Use What You Need. You activate apps when you need them, and you can turn them off at any time. This avoids unnecessary costs and keeps your setup focused.
- Fully Managed by FastComet. There’s no need to handle updates, security patches, or resource allocation. Everything runs in the background, ready when you are.
What’s Available Right Now
Several Cloud Apps are already live in the Marketplace. These include:
- Elasticsearch. A distributed search engine required by Magento 2.4. It powers fast, relevant search results and handles large product catalogs efficiently.
- Elastic + Kibana. A powerful combination for monitoring and visualization. Elastic handles real-time data indexing, while Kibana provides interactive dashboards.
- Redis. An in-memory data store that’s often used for caching and session storage.
- Memcached. A lightweight caching system designed to handle frequent database queries.
- Penpot. A web-based design and prototyping tool for teams. It supports real-time collaboration.
- Taiga. A project management platform built for agile teams. It supports kanban boards, sprint planning, issue tracking, and team collaboration.
FastComet is also actively expanding its Cloud Apps library. As new tools and services become available, they’ll appear directly in the Cloud Apps section of the Marketplace.
Just check your dashboard to see what’s new and launch anything that fits your workflow.
Why Cloud Apps Matter for You
Adding features like advanced search, performance enhancements, or collaboration tools required extra time, money, or technical know-how. And in many cases, those upgrades involve moving to a more expensive hosting plan or dealing with risky manual installations.
With Cloud Apps, none of that is necessary.
These tools are now available directly inside your FastComet dashboard—pre-configured, isolated, and easy to activate when you need them. Here’s what that means for you:
- You Can Stay On Your Current Hosting Plan. If you’re using a Shared Hosting plan, you now have more options when it comes to running Elasticsearch. You can choose to upgrade to a VPS for full control, or simply activate Elasticsearch as a Cloud App through the FastComet Marketplace. No complex setup required.
- You Don’t Have to Worry About Breaking Your Site. Each Cloud App runs in a separate container, completely isolated from your website. It won’t affect your files, your themes, or your server performance. Even if there’s an issue with the app, your site stays online and unaffected.
- You Control What Runs and When. Apps can be turned on and off at any time. There’s no long-term commitment or hidden resource usage. Just activate what you need, use it for as long as it’s helpful, and disable it when you’re done.
- You Get More Done With Less Effort. Using Redis to speed up your site, Taiga to manage your tasks, or Elastic + Kibana to track performance no longer requires back-end configuration or technical support. These tools are powerful but handled behind the scenes—so you can focus on results, not setup.
Cloud Apps give you room to experiment, to scale, and to streamline your site without the limitations of traditional hosting.
It’s a faster, more secure, and more flexible way to manage your services, and it puts real control back in your hands.
Take Hosting Further with Add-Ons
Right after the Cloud Apps section, the FastComet Marketplace gives you another way to extend your hosting setup—Add-Ons.
Add-ons are optional tools you can activate to strengthen your site’s performance, security, backups, and even SEO. Just like Cloud Apps, these features are fully managed and require no manual setup.
You simply choose what you need, click to activate, and it runs in the background without disrupting your website.

Let’s say your site is already running smoothly, but you want to give it a performance boost. Inside the Add-ons section, you’ll find Performance Boost and Analytics.
Once enabled, this feature provides:
- Better Resource Allocation. So your site loads faster, even during traffic spikes
- Built-in Analytics. To help you monitor performance and spot slow-loading elements
You get more speed and better insights, without having to upgrade your hosting or touch your configuration.
Other Add-Ons You Can Enable
Here are a few more Add-Ons available in the Marketplace:
- Backup Restore. Roll back your site to a previous version with one click
- Off-site Website Backups. Store backups externally for extra protection
- Imunify360 Security. Real-time malware detection and server protection
- Dedicated IP Address. Useful for improved email deliverability or custom apps
- SitePad & Softaculous Licenses. Access to drag-and-drop builders and script installers
- CloudLinux OS or AlmaLinux Upgrade. Enhance server stability and user isolation
These are all optional. You activate only what fits your goals, and you can deactivate them just as easily when no longer needed.
Just like cloud apps, every Add-on runs separately in the background. There’s no risk to your website, no technical steps required, and no interference with your core hosting setup.
The Big Picture: FastComet Marketplace Moves Hosting Toward a Full Platform Experience
With tools like Elasticsearch, Redis, Penpot, Kibana, and more available with a click, you can now build and manage dynamic websites without relying on external platforms or technical workarounds.
This evolution positions FastComet closer to a Platform as a Service (PaaS) model—a scalable and flexible system that allows you to launch applications, integrate services, and customize your environments from a single dashboard.
This approach offers:
- Instant access to advanced tools
- Simplified service management without jumping between providers or configurations
- Custom setups that adapt to the needs of each individual project
There’s no longer a need to upgrade just to test new features or manually install complex software. Everything is already integrated, ready to activate, and designed to work together.
For users who want more control and less complexity, the FastComet Marketplace brings hosting one step closer to the flexibility of cloud platforms, without the learning curve.
