They deactivated my account because of a demo page, which I installed as a test, it's an ordinary wordpress page and template, everything was demo mode, lorem impsum, but they wrote that it was fraudulent activity, I wrote to... More them to check and see for themselves yes it was a demo but they didn't react, they didn't allow me to take backups, they deactivated my 4 domains and 4 sites, I paid for hosting for 2 years, they also took the money I had on my account and didn't allow withraw.
I do not recommend this provider to anyone.

Website uptime is the time that a website or web service is available to users in a given period. The industry considers 99.999% uptime as high availability. Google has indicated that website speed (and page speed) is one of the signals used by its algorithm to rank pages.

GoDaddy Customer Support

GoDaddy has some excellent customer support tools that are helpful and can assist you in solving any problem quickly. But let’s dig a little further and examine each support option’s operation.

Let’s start with the live chat option for GoDaddy.

Additionally, GoDaddy offers phone assistance that is accessible 24/7/365, you can call them and get a prompt response.

The best aspect is that you can select whether you are a novice or an expert user to improve your experience.

And the Winner Is…Namecheap!

Once again, I was unable to determine a clear winner because both web hosts are user-friendly for beginners, although Namecheap offers a few advantages over GoDaddy. The only reason I decided on Namecheap was that it offers fantastic free privacy protection when registering a domain name.

Round 7: Server locations

Server locations are crucial since it has an impact on how quickly your page loads. For instance, you can have longer loading times and more downtimes if you select a web host with fewer servers globally. Which web host is the best for this? Let’s find out!

GoDaddy Server location

GoDaddy effectively repositioned itself as an international brand in just 3 years, expanding its services to more than 30 languages, 56 niche sectors, and selling in 125 nations and 43 different currencies. GoDaddy’s corporate offices are in Tempe, Arizona, however, its data center in Phoenix is larger than 320.000 square feet. Globally, this web host has three data centers. It specifically has data centers in Asia, Europe, and North America (USA, Netherlands) (Singapore).

Namecheap Server location

Namecheap just has one data center, which operates rather well due to its CDN, but it isn’t enough to make it superior to GoDaddy. Namecheap infrastructure is safely positioned in the United States, where 95% of it is, and in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands for the other 5%.

And the Winner Is…GoDaddy

In this last round, GoDaddy wins since it has more server locations than Namecheap.

GoDaddy vs Namecheap: Final Recommendations

When to Choose GoDaddy?

Many people are aware of GoDaddy, the world’s largest and most prominent domain registrar. However, you should only utilize it when:

  • You are a novice to the world of websites – GoDaddy is a fantastic hosting company and their interface is really simple to use.
  • You want 24/7 phone support– GoDaddy provides exceptional Customer Service that is available by phone 24/7/365; you can call them and get a prompt solution.
  • You just want to test out certain features– GoDaddy is the best choice for short-term websites.

When to Choose Namecheap?

Although Namecheap came out on top in our comparison overall, it would be preferable to use it if:

  • You’re trying to find a long-term fix for your website.
  • You already have domains hosted by other web hosts – Namecheap offers a very simple process for transferring them.
  • You need more sophisticated security choices –  Namecheap has some of the best web host security features available.

The Bottom Line

The major reason for the GoDaddy and Namecheap comparison was because they both provide domain registration, and I wanted to evaluate their whole offerings to see who was better. Namecheap appears to be superior to GoDaddy in general.

GoDaddy and Namecheap are both prominent domain name providers, however, Namecheap outperforms GoDaddy in terms of price options and monthly renewals.   Namecheap also beats GoDaddy in terms of hosting and domains.

GoDaddy, on the other side, offers exceptional performance and loading speeds.

The final choice is yours – Choose the web host you believe would best fit your company.
